its an dedicated APU that means its going to use alot less power under full load than the i5 2410m
the i5 is slightly more powerful but the amd one is still powerful but will give you a longer battery life thats what you want from a laptop really. (the amd can idel on 1 watt of power and maxs out at 35 watts whereas the intel idles on about what the amd processor is maxed out on at 35 watts.)
